Quote builder and enquiry forms: your name, company name, email address, telephone number where given, and the details of the contract or question you submit.

Free diagnostic tools: the URL, domain, IP address or hostname you choose to test, along with the technical result of that test. We do not ask for personal details to use the tools.

Standard technical data your browser sends with every request, such as IP address and user agent, used for security and to keep the site running.

To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and — if you become a client — to deliver and administer your support contract. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, or performance of a contract once one exists.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use website enquiry data for unrelated marketing.

Enquiries and quotations that do not lead to a contract are retained for up to 24 months so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, then deleted. Client records are retained for the life of the contract and for the period afterwards required by UK tax and accounting law.

Only the service providers needed to operate the site and our business — our website and email delivery platform, and our internal ticketing and accounting systems. Each processes data on our instructions. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards.

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email itsupport@ybs-ltd.com and we will respond within one calendar month.

If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This site uses only the cookies and local storage needed to make it work — most notably to remember the contract you are building in the quote builder so it is still there when you return. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
